Carrot Norway

Carrot Norway is a Late Nantes variety from the Dutch breeder Bejo for late-season production and long-term storage.

Characteristics

• Type: Nantes, late
• Maturity: 120–130 days
• Root: cylindrical, even and smooth, 25–30 cm long
• Root weight: 100–200 g
• Colour: rich dark orange with a small core
• Yield: 4–5.5 kg/m²

Resistance

• Excellent tolerance to cracking
• Intermediate resistance to Alternaria, Cercospora and root rots

Use

Long-term storage (4–5 months), fresh consumption, washing, processing and bunching.

Growing

Light, loose soils are recommended.
